Total Comfort total comfort total ripoff heating cooling my butt they suck Saint Louis Missouri

Total Comfort is a Total rip off!! I purchased my air conditioner and furnace in June of 2012(*4 thousand dollars) and the air conditioner has already broken down in June of 2014-( which was a very mild summer indeed.) I even had the "annual maintenance " for 75 dollars in April of 2014 and the system was fine at that time. When the service man came out to look at my air conditioner in June 2014, I was told the coil had several leaks in it and needed to be replaced. The PART was covered, however, the labor was not. The labor $ to install a new coil would cost me $545.00. I was at work at the time the service man came to my house and was charged 190.00,

 

which included the trip fee to my house, the diagnosis for adding the coolant back into my air conditioner. I asked the service man why he would add the coolant prior to the air conditioner being fixed and his response was, "well, it won't matter much if it's fixed in a few days. Well, it wasn't fixed in a few day, in fact it hasn't been fixed at all. I am still paying for the air conditioner and furnace on installments. This system has barely ran for 8 (summer months) out of time I have owned it! How dare these people think this is OK. I called Total Comfort to voice my issue and was asked if I wanted the part or not! 

 

I emailed the manufacturer: Goodman Manufacturing Attn:  Consumer Affairs7401 Security Way Houston, TX  77040 of the Amana _ products and received  a letter that advised me, since I did not purchase the extended warranty that there was nothing they can do. Well, there is plenty I can do. I would not think one would need a extended warranty on a product this new. I intend to do plenty by word of mouth and I am starting with this REVIEW. Thank you
