Total Gym Fitness, LLC misleading ,and worse, billing trickery, scam, dishonest, deliberate, horrible customer service Exton Pennsylvania

Total Gym Fitness LLC sells their extremely over priced "total gym" fitness equipment for more than $2300. They bait you by saying you only have to pay around $170 per month. However, as soon as your bank's fraud protection department changes your bank card's last four digits to protect the consumer, your bank card is no longer approved by companies like Total Gym...now a common issue. 

HOWEVER, these guys apparently intentionally make no effort to let you know there is an issue with your credit card, and after 60 days AUTOMATICALLY turn your account over to a collections agency, BYL Collection Services. Then this collection agency comes after you for the entire amount owed. To make things worse, Total Gym customer services uses language like, "we see your account is with our billing department" and when you press them repeatedly they finally admit that they turned your account over to a collections agency. 

BYL (supposedly owned by Total Gym Fitness LLC which is actually American Telecast Products, then tells you, "owe don't worry, we don't report this to the credit bureaus until we have had it in our office for 60 days. AND they then say, you can just pay us the outstanding amount owed and then keep paying us the monthly payment instead of Total Gym Fitness, and we won't report it to your credit bureaus. 

This isn't true either. If you don't pay off the total amount owed with their 20% discounted rate for one time payoff, then after the aforementioned 60 days, they do in fact report it to your credit bureaus and your credit gets hurt. 

This is disgusting and yet another example of a company who is doing everything within the letter of the law, but with zero ethics or customer service. 

What a business plan...hock a bunch of machines, and provide minimal customer service, and if the customer falls behind, don't tell them, just dump the debt to our collections company and let them handle it, and lie to the consumer to tell them whatever we want them to hear until we get our money. 

Disgusting.
