Total warranty Purchased this warranty for 2,500 my car broke down on 7/24/17 when I notified them they basically said everything is covered except the part that caused the break down and denied my claim, as a consumer I feel they should pay what they cover and I pay for what's not. Was told a Manger would contact me never heard from one. I'm in jeopardy of losing my job I am a private duty nuse aide and need the car for work. West Palm Beach Florida
*Consumer Comment: Many of the auto warranty's available today are worthless
My engine is blown in the warranty it says I'm covered but the inspector said the thing that caused the break down is not. As a consumer I purchased this warranty so I would be protected if something happens. And for them to just deny my claim and be through with me is unfair. I'm a single mother trying to provide for my family I feel like they just robbed me for my money and told me to take a hike. Now I'm stuck paying a car note to a car I can't drive and my job is in jeopardy this is really putting a strain on me emotionally and financially. Stressed

If you read the auto warranty contract you will see plenty of exceptions (items not covered). Those warranty sales reps will tell you anything to get you to buy one. Do you have a copy of the warranty contract? Please read it. I am not a rep of any warranty company. In fact, I think that most of the auto warranties that I have seen are outright ripoffs. You are far better off not having the after market warranty and just take the $2500 and set it aside in a savings account for maintenance and repairs. At least then you have access to the funds unrestricted.
There should be no reason your job is in jeopardy. Take an uber to work until you can figure out where to get the funds for the repair. Cancel the warranty and get a partial refund.
