On July 10 I purchased an expedited service to receive a government form SF50 on file in St. Louis. This is needed for a new Government job that I had been accepted for. On Touchstone's website, they imply that going through normal channels to get these forms takes weeks and even months, where they can get it in just a couple of days. They "guarantee" fastest possible delivery with nobody else able to get forms faster, per their website.

I purchased their service which says they will deliver (in 95% of cases per their website) in 7 days, and I also purchased their upgraded 2 day processing for the total cost charged to my paypal account. I also requested my forms through normal government channels. I received my papers from the government in 5 days, and now 20 days out I still have nothing from Touchstone. I did research and most comments I have found on this company warn of scams. The only positive comments come from their own website.  

I cancelled my order by calling (to be hung up on by the person answering). I called back to no answer and left a clear message including my phone number. No return call. I emailed them, tried their on-line chat (which does not work), nothing was answered.

Then I opened a paypal case and I finally got an email saying that they received my request but require a signed form so they can obtain my DD214, even though I never ordered that form.  I believe this company is not what they are representing themselves as, their very expensive "expedited" service is much slower even than the standard government service, and I'm requested a full refund from paypal.  Following an investigation from paypal, I was awarded my full purchase price back.

Like you I also ordered a DD-214 through Touchstone Research Group and I also paid for the express service believing that I would have my DD-214 the same day if I submitted my request before 10 am which I did not so I expected to have it the next day which came and went and still no DD-214.

Touchstone has not responded to any of my email inquiries as to the status of my order and this morning when I called as soon as I told them I was calling regarding the status of an order they hung up on me and when I call back I get sent straight to voice mail.

I understand that things don't always work out according to plan and that there are bumps in the road which can cause delays.  That I can accept.  What I can not accept is an unresponsive company and being hung up on.  

I will give Touchstone a few more days before I file my own "Ripoff Report" but I just wanted to post a rebuttal to backup your report as I too am experiencing the same poor customer service.
