A guy came to my door and asked what I did for a living, I told him I worked and went to school. He explained he was doing something for a what sounded like a workforce. I was to inspire him to go to school.
He then told me he was in a contest, to win a trip to Paris. He had to sell so many magazine subscriptions and they would send him, along with a couple co-workers to Paris.
Long story short, I was sucker and wrote a check for $66. He had me totally convinced it was real and I felt sorry for him. He even made me do weird stuff like draw a happy face by my name, because it would earn him more points. I also had to fill out a postcard about his friendliness.
Needless to say I never recieved my magazines, 3 months later.
