The NEW Tower.com Website is to be AVOIDED at all costs. They are NOT the the same company now that Caimen Inc has taken over. The last two orders that I placed with Tower.com were not up to the standard that I am accustomed to with Tower Records.
Normally, it would take about 2-4 days for an "In Stock" cd to arrive from Towerrecords.com However, with the New Tower.com it took the In Stock items nearly a month to arrive for which there is NO Excuse. And when the Cds arrived they were NOT what I ordered. And to make matters worse, they were used copies of the CDs as well and one arrived with a broken CD case.
Customer service is terrible and extremely rude. I couldnt even get a replacement case for the broken case, much less get the problems with the CDs resolved. On the last order, part of the shipment Never arivved and they refused to send a replacement cd or cancel the order. They were once again extremely rude and even hung up on me.
I had to call my credit card company to resolve the issue. I have been a loyal Tower Records shopper for more than 30 years and a Tower Online customer for about 6 years. However, I will NEVER order from Tower.com again and I advise anyone who is reading this to Not Order from them either.
