Just a warning to anyone contemplating purchasing the 'Tires for Life' program...let the buyer beware.
They do not explain to you that you must have your car serviced at the dealership where it was purchased...unlike regular warranty and service work which can be performed at any dealership. And since most dealers offer this program, other dealerships will take your oil change coupons and never tell you that you are voiding your program at the originating dealership.
They also do not explain to you that if you miss an oil change by a certain mileage it will void your 'Tires for Life'.
If you do not read the fine print, you will find yourself not only paying for the 'Tires for Life' program but for new tires as well.
Let the buyer beware.

Wow! And a set of Michelins can last 80K miles...

That is a LOT of service dollars to spend at your friendly Toy dealer to maybe get tires that probably will not last as long, nor perform as well, as Michelins.
Well, I always did the service work on our present Toy and I am at least PLANNING on doing the service work on our newly ordered Toy. DIM (doing in myself) means I get better oil etc. for less money, and if something is screwed up I know exactly whom I should blame.
BIG BIG Thank you for the heads-up.
