I purchased a car from these people. Came out to about 11,500 dollars. They told me they'd call me when my plates came in and when they do, I need to bring my first payment of 350 dollars to the dealership so they could "process" it and send it to the bank. Well they never called. I actually called, and when they told me my plates had been in for a few days already, I went to get them. I picked up the plates and gave them the 350 dollars. They gave me a receipt and said they would send the payment in after they process the money.

A few days go by and I start getting harassed by Santander Bank. They tell me that they never received my first payment. I called Lakewood Toyota and left several messages but they never called me back. I kept getting harassed by Santander and they told me it was my fault because I gave the dealership my money; I was just doing what they dealership told me! I never had a new car before.

Anyways, a few weeks have gone by and still nothing. My payment is way late and now I'm getting bills in the mail for my next payment. The financial guy from the dealership called me drunk and told me he was going to send the money to the bank but he never did. We've called several times and still nothing. The guy calls me in the middle of the night drunk and keeps telling me that he's going to send the money but he never does. I plan on getting a lawyer and canceling the whole contract.

Don't ever do business with Lakewood Toyota! They are rip-offs and I'm sure they've done this to other people.
