ON January 22nd 2004 I called to see who had taken the money from my account. I was told that I had reached Trac Guard auto club. Knowing that I never signed up or gave permission for any funds to be transfered from my account, I was some what puzzeled. Then I remembered that on 12-18-03 we had been contacted by telephone about a credit card. The amount for the card was$299.95
in advance. I declined their offer.
Since Jan 18-04 I have called them six times and sent a request by mail for my $19.95 to be returned to my account. They have given me one bullshit excuse
after another. I might just have to make a road trip to NJ for the refund wether it be monitary or other. Please advise others of this pratice.

This is a updade from original posting. Called again for refund asked for Mike Lewis, Advisied that he no longer works for the company.
New customer service rep is Peter Henrey. So Far the phone number is still active. 1-888-863-9661,When you call you are put on hold for the next customer rep.
Remember when they call you they try to sell you a pre approved credit card for $299.95, If funds are not available they will transfer what ever they can from your account. When you call for a refund they tell you that they are a auto club, the name is Trac Guard.
I have contacted a friend who is with a task force to find out as much info as he can, as new information becomes available I will pass
it along.
