After 5 months of endless promises, I had to threaten to contact their local district attorney with a fraud complaint and class-action suit -

this is what I get 3 days later:

"I have gone ahead and cancelled your order as well as refunded you for the f
ull amount paid. Please allow 2-5 business days for this to be reflected on your bank statement.
Have a nice day!

Best,
Beau O.
TrackR Customer Relation Specialist"

This company has put their original crowd-funding partners at the very BOTTOM of their list of priorities. If you read the feedback here, you'll find that people in EUROPE are getting theirs before we are. And now I'm told they can be found in TARGET stores....
SO INCREDIBLY INSULTING... I hope someone buys this company out and fires everyone......

GOOD LUCK................

#1 Consumer Suggestion

They Can Run but They Can't Hide

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 05, 2015

Remember these guys "No need to call police" and their ads "Bike Theft Revenge!" http://bit.ly/NO-No-NO This is why TrackR's dangerous ad puts theft victim's lives at risk!

Meet ANTHONY MARCOS JIMINEZ arrested at 1:35 in the morning by Sacramento Police Department's Finest: He has multiple probation violations (On Probation now for Burglary and weapons) He's a car thief, has many many assaults on his rap sheet, drug sales, weapons violations. In total he has four prior felony arrests and seven misdemeanors that we know of in Sac County. He's going to just hand over a victim's bike and say "Sorry!"

The TrackR company would not respond to your complaints and continues to take "Pre-Orders" for a product that they're not shipping:

Too bad we can't give you the screen shot but thanks to 1,500+ law enforcement followers on Twitter, Chris Herbert the CEO of TrackR surfaced on Twitter as @CGherb to claim first about ripping off customers:

"@crimewatch Actually we have shipped several thousand units. Anyone who doesn't want to wait can cancel at any time with a refund."

We replied: "@CGherb While we appreciate finally having a reply, we ask you again to take down the bike ads "no need to call the cops!" We posted our phone number too. Surprise surprise, he didn't call opting instead to tweet this reply:

"@crimewatch Not sure I agree there. We got our bike back and had no interest to pursue charges. People make mistakes."

We've challenge him to show up here and answer his many pissed off customers. Will he? His lated post on Twitter: "Chris Herbert ‏@CGherb 16 hours ago 'support@thetrackr.com' for a refund."

Our final word: Mr. Herbert, every company will run into a few unhappy customers but from reviews, you have too many to to take lightly. Combined with your unwillingness to remove "Bike Theft Revenge - No need to call cops" ad all over social media, you're clearly ignoring the threat such irresponsible  statements pose to your customer's safety. We will look out for them!

The message here? You can do something up against white collar shysters who raise millions from crowd funding investors and spend it on advertising to raise even more ad money while screwing customers.
