Trades Construction Services Corp Owner Alan Becker Do Not Buy a home build by this company Staten Island New York

Bought newly built home from this contractor, which you think buying new you would have no problems and specially cause it comes with a warrenty. Well i was wrong. First off the warranty is bull this builder hold his own warranty meaning there is no third party and he can deny whatever claims he wants. Still can't understand how this is even legal.

Problems started shortly after we moved in.

1st problem was the pipes; they started to leak and were visible watermarks on ceiling. Contact builder right away and he denied claim.

2nd problem toilets started to move and leak, contact builder he denied claim. We decided to take a toilet up and noticed they were installed wrong called builder again and he denied claim again.

3rd problem concrete in driveway started cracking, he denied claim.

4th problem stairs started separating inside and outside, he denied claim.

5th problem balcony started coming apart, he denied claim.

6th problem and most important our foundation started to crack, had it inspected by two structural engineers, both state there is a problem and builder still denied my claim. After much back and forth builder cam and did a patch job, and within about 30 days crack opened again. Emailed builder right away, this time not only did he deny my claim, he told me to take him to court. Knowing full well taking him to court would cost upwards of $10,000.00 plus and in the state of NY you cannot sue for those cost back.

So enclosing I strongly urge you do not buy a home from Trade Construction Services Corp, owner Alan Becker. In my opinion they are one of the worst/dishonest builders on Staten Island.
