TradeStocksAmerica Mitch King Deceptive and unfair trade practices. Billed for "free" merchandise. Had to cancel credit card to stop recurring billing. Had invoice for $14.95, was overbilled by over $300. Took six months wit Wilsonville, Oregon

I ordered a free training course, paying the shipping and handling of $14.95, per TradeStocksAmerica advertising.  The invoice I received was for $14.95.  I was billed $269, $14.95, $99 and $99.  

After filing a complaint with my bank, TradeStocksAmerica offered to refund all but the $14.95 if I returned the "free" program.  I returned the free program, but TradeStocksAmerica did not make the refund as promised.  After spending approximately six months, with almost daily contacts with the bank, I finally gave up trying to collect from TradeStocksAmerica.   I had to cancel the credit card in order to stop further recurring billing.

During the "free" trial period, I was sent useless information and reports which were easily obtainable for free from multiple sources. 

It is my opinion, based on my personal experience, that this is a company that anyone would be wise to avoid.

what was posted in that consumer comment on August 21, 2007, which was thirteen months BEFORE the stock market crashed.

The Dow Jones suffered its largest single day loss on September 29, 2008, which was thirteen months after that consumer comment was posted at this website.

On September 29, 2008, the Dow Jones lost a record 777 points and the banking system collapsed, and needed HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN TAXPAYER'S MONEY (TARP) in order to prevent a Depression in the USA and around the world.

We attempt to have outstanding personal service by phone or email and it is disappointing to see we may have failed with this particular customer. We offered a 10 dvd set of free training of various techniques to profit in the stock market with a $14.95 shipping and handling for USA customers (higher for Foreign). And the customer gets a free trial to The Daily Stock Report. If a customer chooses not to continue the service after the free trial, he or she is NOT required to return the free dvd stock training course and never has.

If the customer chose to continue The Daily Stock Report service, he or she was charged $97 a month for 22 reports per month (price has been lowered since). This particular customer also chose to purchase the Advanced Scalping course for $269 and which our return policy is a 30 day return policy.

We had credited Mike from Lewisville, NC the $269 last September 2010 and will also refund $97 for the one month he received the service last May 2010. There was no second charge of $97.

When a customer calls or emails us, we try to give a lot of grace and understanding but somehow we failed with this customer and again, our apologies.
