Wasson Commercial Contracting agreed to a price and anticipated ship/receive date. Wasson sent my assistant Jacob to your phoenix location last Thursday January 14th to pick up the trailer. On January 15th, I inspected the trailer at my shop and realized the poor workmanship would not be acceptable. I called trailer Plus office to tell them about the poor workmanship and they instructed me to bring the trailer back in and they would look into repairing the defective trailer.

I instructed the manager at store that I needed a trailer for work that day and to see if they could loan me a temporary trailer and he said no. At that time, I instructed the manager that we waited a long time for trailer and I was not willing to go any longer without a trailer. I instructed Jacob who works for me to return the trailer and requested the manger give us full refund. Since the trailer was dropped off on Friday the 15th, I have purchased another trailer that has far better workmanship then yours. I would expect a full refund from your company Also, your sales guy is now back peddling on email below and did not give us plates for the amount we paid, he said that was not included, however, if you read email chain below you will see clearly that it was.

 Spoke to my DM he got the trailer price to $6549 with the extensions and installation you're at $7543.50 The trailer has a 700 mark down already so not much wiggle room there.

With tax and registration and doc fee you're looking around $8350 roughly. Taxes can differ a little depending on zip code.

I also have pictures of the rust marks, welding overspray (popcorn) and poor paint work, all of which will cause problems done the road, the paint will be peeling if painted over rusted metal.

 I just happened to Google my name and seen this so that is why I am now replying. I remember the situation very well. Mr. Wasson had contacted our store by phone in search of a dump trailer for his business. After haggling the price for a few days, we came to an agreed upon price. His comment of me "backpedaling" is ridiculous. If you read my emails corresponding with him, one price was with side rail extensions and one price was without them. The price did not change as Mr Wasson suggests. Anyhow, after agreeing on price Mr Wasson sent one of his workers to pick up and pay for the trailer. Once the employee inspected the trailer he mentioned the popcorn marks from the thick welds on the trailer. I told him it was common with the welds on those specific trailers and it would not affect the integrity of the trailer. I also suggested he take pictures and send to Mr Wasson or have him personally come in before the purchase as all sales are final. This is also clearly posted throughout our branch location. The employee did not find this necessary and purchased the trailer. A few days goes by and Mr Wasson contacts about about his dissatisfaction. Wanting to accommodate him we suggested he bring the trailer by. He had his worker bring it by and it was clear he had used the trailer the few days he had it. Since his issues was the popcorn on the bed of a dump trailer, we had an associate grind the bed to the best of our abilities.

Again, this was beyond our policies and really wanted to make our customer happy. I can honestly say that Trailers Plus does care about its customers and I have seen both of the owners go above and beyond for customers. Of course this was not good enough for Mr Wasson. We also offered to exchange his trailer for another but he again refused. I feel we did everything within reason to satisfy Mr Wasson. I don't know if he just needed the trailer for a few days use and was trying to justify a refund. I really don't know. I don't care for the fact that my name is on some rip off report because I can assure you that I did not rip anyone off and neither did Trailers Plus. I have worked doing sales my entire life and have experienced different companies approaches to customer service. I can say that Trailers Plus is one of the best. I have not worked for them for some time and have nothing to gain by saying that. I'm just being honest. Unfortunately I think it goes back to the old saying You can't please everyone. And because Mr Wasson realized he had absolutely no legal recourse, he reverted to this. If something would have been wrong with the trailers operation or mechanics, I assure you, it would've been fixed.
