 I purchased a dog offline when the owner of the dog took the dog to the shipping courier to be shipped the shipping courier contacted me via email and asked for a refundable insurance policy for flying the dog which was the amount of 1200 dollars to wire transferred to them once I did that they contacted me again via email and said they the dog was not in a formidable crate that I would need to put a refundable down payment on an aircondioned crate in the amount of 990 dollars then the dog was to be shipped. The dog supposedly went out on a flight that stopped off in Kansas city Missouri from there the dog had a check up do to being on a plane then they contacted me again and said that the dog had been sent to quarantine do to not having the correct vaccines and to do the vaccines it was going to cost a refundable fee of 675 then to get the dog out of quarantine it would cost a refundable amount of 2000 dollars and then they said I needed a SITES permit to bring the dog into CO which was another refundable fee of 750 and after u pay that amount the dog would be shipped so yet I again I paid that amount then they contacted me again and said that the customs department had taken the dog into custody do to not having another permit which was called USDA permit and that it would cost a refundable 7200 dollars to keep the puppy out of the pound and be sent to me i was not able to come up with such a large amount I contacted the original seller of the dog to see what his thoughts were and he said he would pay 4150 of the 7200 and I would have to get the rest so I came up w my end of the deal in the amount of 3050 dollars and sent it to the shipping company where I've sent the last amounts of money then I came to find out that he was only able to come up 2000 of the 4150 he was supposed to pay and that until the rest was paid in the amount of 2150 dollars the dog would stay where it was at this point I was not able to come up with anymore money and decided to see if this whole was a scam which I should have done a long time ago I am out 8600 plus the price of the dog which was 650
