I applied to a job on Hotjobs.com a regional sales manager position and I have been inundated with telephone calls and emails ever since. I cannot contact anyone at this company, they do not exist in any corporate database.

However I found similiar jobs listed on Career Builder and they appear to be the same as faux jobs listed by a company called V3 Technology on Hotjobs a month ago. According to the Badbusinessbureau V3 is the same as Transcontinental Talent which is also called the Winters Group and several other names.

Isn't it about time these job boards wised up to the shenanigans of these companies? They are trying to bi-pass the Do Not Call List for telemarketing and the new Anti-spam legislation.

Too bad you can't sue the ISP.

Clarifications and responses to the issues you brought up

AUTHOR: Michael - (U.S.A.)

Hi Marc,

As a representative of V3 Technology, I would like to clear up some issues with your above post. First of all, we do exist in the state of Florida's database. We are not Transcontinental talent as you indicate above. We are not Winters Group as you say above. We are an independent company. We provide hosting and web development services. Our website is www.v3-tech.com. Feel free to check it out.

One of the more common services we provide is a system for HR that allows companies to direct applicants to a form we host that then allows companies to search, sort, and jot notes on their applicants. To subsidize this undertaking and make it affordable, we have taken limited advertising on from certain companies. In order to receive information from one of these companies you must either click on the banner ad or explicitly opt in via a radio button that is not defaulted.

If you would so desire, you can email your information and which companies are spamming or calling you and we would attempt to contact them on your behalf and ask them to stop. Send the mail to info@v3-tech.com.
