I signed a yr lease contract with TransCity Property Management.I gave Transcity a written 30 day notice delevered in person, that I would be vacatting the property at 1340 N. Recker & my last day there would be July 31, 2008. I would still continue making my rental payments ontime. On several occasions I tried to schedule a final walk through but was told the that I would have to schedule this on the day or day before I vacate. However the lady that is qualified to do the walk through, would be on vacation July 30,& 31. The Leasing contract states that the utilities are to be kept on through out the entire leasing contract, which I did. Around Early September I received a call from TransCity stating that they needed me to call the Utility Company to have the utilities turned back on in my name, due to them having them turned off and put in their name cause they didnt think I was going to make anymore payments. On October 23 I received a letter in the mail stating how much that I owe TransCity. There is no official utility bill & f I am to pay this I request the actual bill, which they stated they can not come up with. After contacting the Arizona Better Business Bureau about a bill for $166 for utilities that they shut off. They stated that I owed them this but could not give me an official utility bill. I stated in the BBB report that the only way I would pay this is with court stating so / or the official utility bill. After several attempts by the Arizona BBB to get a response from TransCity they finaly responded stating that no payment would be required. Transcity was just looking to score some extra cash. DO NOT USE THIS scam COMPANY FOR ANY OF YOUR RENTAL NEEDS. THEY WILL SCREW YOU..
