I cannot say anything about the service except I know it has changed for the worse. They now have a BBB rating of "F". One sure sign of a bad company is the way they treat employees. As a former Employee (I was fired just before Christmas with no warning, no severence, nothing) I can tell you that this was a great company until they were bought out by "financial backers" out of New York City. I would like to share the way they treat hard working employees! I worked there for 4 years and did an excellent job, we all did a good job and had great teamwork. Our team saved the company millions.
Then the new owners brought in a "hatchet team" that have started to dismantle the place, in a nasty way. They bring in one of their 'new and better' employees at a pay rate that is $10K per year more than the established and experianced employees make, for the same work! They make it so miserable that many employees quit. They force these same employees to train the new people and then fire them!

I wanted to clarify the info on the way the company is now treating the merchants. I could say plenty about what they do to their merchants but out of fear I cannot detail these behaviors here. I can say they are not trustworthy to do business with! If you sign a contract with TransFirst you are stuck, and please read the details as they will do things that may be legal but are wrong!
