The company mislead me in the advertising of the Transforming Debt Into Wealth product.  The issue is that I ordered a trial DVD and was not informed that it was they would send the entire series. This was sent from New World Media located at 1269 North Wood Dale Wood Dale Il 60191.

The product is advertised as a free trial for the DVD only and I would have to authorize the the shipping of the series.  I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE SHIPPING OR BILLING OF THE SERIES. The package was delivered in November 2011. I just opened it yesterday as I was in school and did not have time to open the box. It sat on my floor since its delivery.  I returned the product today via cert mail.

I called the company to alert them to expect the package and refund the charges.  I was informed that the product is non refundable.  This is the first I heard of this today. They are charging an account that I keep for emergencies and do not check on a regular basis. It was only when I went to withdraw money that I discovered the debits of 119.96.

Attempts to call the company has resulted in rude response and no access to a supervisor and hanging up the call. I want my money back. The following is from their website and this is what I was expecting. This FREE CD Could Be Your First Step to Becoming Debt-Free

Couple of mistakes

AUTHOR: Ashley - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 16, 2012

1: You realize that its april right? You've had their product since november. I don't know of a single company that would refund a product after you've had it that long. If you had bothered opening your mail, you might have been able to get a refund if you contacted them immediately. You've waited so long you can't even dispute the charge with your credit card.

2: The website says all over the place that its a free 30-day trial. What did you think would happen when the 30 days were up? Try reading the small print next time. These offers always have a payment option kick in after the trial period is over.

3: You didn't realize it until now because you don't use your emergency account. I guess that means you never look at your bank statements do you? In 6 months you never bothered opening a bank statement about that account. I think I can see why you need the transforming debt in to wealth series.
