Transworldsystems Harassing my mother with unsupported claims Internet

For the past 2-3 months, my mother has been bombarded from thugs, claiming to work for a company called Transworldsystems. This may be a little different, from the previous complaints I have read here, but I'm confident that the resulting anger from these snot bastards, are still the same.

First of all, when they call, they don't have the complete information about my mother to begin with. They claim that they are just trying to find out, if the person who owes them money, is indeed my mother. My mother has filled me in with the details of their mindless criminal activities. In addition, I had the opportunity to gently take the phone from my mother's hands, when this idiot called her again, approximately (2) weeks ago. To make this as short as possibly, he was "merely" asking her some personal questions, as to find out if my mother was the person they were looking for, on a debt collection issue. After informing this slug, (with just enough information to convince him, that she was NOT the person they were looking for) she received a voicemail yesterday, (12-17-09) from the same individual I spoke with, only a few short weeks ago.

Because I'm somewhat in the Christmas spirit, I'll leave his name anonymous. (barring any further futile attempts to contact my mother again, then he's fair game!!)

Even if this whole circus is deemed "not a scam," their business practices is "shady and non-professional" at best. There are consumer laws in place, (or strongly monitored anyway) that protect the consumer, regardless if the person IS, or in this case, IS NOT the individual they are looking for. In short, they HAVE NOT presented me with even a fair amount of information regarding my mother, when they call to begin with. This pretty much eliminates the need for them to send ANYTHING CERTIFIED, to my mother's address, because they are not sure if she is the person they are looking for to begin with.

THIS IS CLEARLY HARRASMENT, BECAUSE OF THEIR TOTAL LACK OF ISSUING ANYTHING LEGAL OR PROFESSIONAL, TO MY MOTHER'S PLACE OF RESIDENCE. Federal law states that if a consumer owes a debt to either a company, or a collection agency, this debt information has to be submitted to the consumer in question, within (5) days of the complaint from the originating company, OR from the debt collection agency, after the originating company turns the debt over to the collection agency.

I currently have Power of Attorney over my mother's finances. I wrote a very firm e-mail through Transworld's "client" services e-mail address last night. And just like before, I only gave them just enough information, as to the person I was referring to.

...but I assure you, if they call again...IT'S GONNA GET "LEGALLY" REAL UGLY!!

I have already instructed my mother to send a "certified" letter, to the State of Indiana's Attorney General's office. Furthermore, I have sent an e-mail to the Federal Trade Commission, with ALL the pertinent details yesterday, regarding these heartless bastards!!

Furthermore, and this goes out to anyone from Transworldsystems. (who works in this kind of manner anyway) You may have an "A" rating with the State of Indiana's BBB, but you also have a fair amount of complaints as well. COMPLAINTS EXACTLY IDENTICAL TO ALL THE ONES HERE!!

I'm no stranger to filing complaints, either here or elsewhere!!

THE NEXT TIME YOU REMOTELY CONTEMPLATE CONTACTING MY MOTHER AGAIN, YOU'LL DO IT THRU ME!!
