TranTech Merchant Group Secure Chex Salesman was misleading, company is even worse. Ft Worth Texas

I got into this mess in June of 2005. The salesman told me that I would own the equipment at the end of a 3 year lease. I signed the paperwork and waited for my card and check processing machines to arrive. Everything that was needed was not included, the instructions were unclear and complicated, and I would have to go through several steps to process checks. We have a mobile service and take checks at the service site so the check processor was virtually useless. I finally went back to my old equipment and processing service.

When I got my copy of the lease agreement out and read it I found out that I have to purchase the equipment at the end of the lease period. I called and they more or less told me that it was what it was and I couldn't do anything about it, let the buyer beware. When I tried to get help understanding how to operate my system I couldn't even get a person on site to help me.

This equipment has sat in a cabinet now for over 4 years, I only tried to use it for about a week. My lease payment is 107.41 per month, my account is debited 40.50 for bankcard services and 34.50 per month for secure chex even though they are not used. When I tried to cancel service last year I was told my contract was not up yet. I just talked to a customer service rep who told me that my contract auto renewed without my knowledge and I will have to send a letter and a Money Order or Cashiers check for 695.00 to get this stopped.

I have stopped payment on the lease already and I don't know yet what they will charge. No doubt there will be a similar set up since I suspect the lease company is owned by the same compant as Trantech is. I would gladly welcome a class action suite to put these people in their places.
