Travel America Resorts

Some years ago my wife and I joined a campground resort by the name of Grass Lakes Resort, East of Jackson, Michigan. They were owned at that time by All Seasons Resort, out of California. Well, Grass Lakes and All Seasons resort went bankrupt and their Property and all were sold out to Travel America.
All of the members were informed that they had lost everything of their three lifetime memberships and then Travel America informed us by mail that they had taken over our membership and that we would now have to pay them their maintainance fees. They were informed that if they did not keep their Coast to Coast affiliation that we were not interested in any further involvement with Grass Lakes Resort. Well, some years have gone by and we keep getting billed for the fees. Travel America has call several times to find out when we intend to pay. They inform us that the amount has to be paid up in full before they can drop us from their membership list.
We continue to inform them that we have no contract with them with our signature on it. But they wait a few days and call us again to inform us that the bill keeps growing. They have been informed that we do not have a contract with them and that they should drop us from their list of members but they continue to refuse.
I have sent for copies of the court cases involving the bankruptcy Courts in California but have not received them as of this time.
These people continue to harass us and have been informed that I have a condition of Mini-strokes that flairs up whenever I get too much stress. They continue to call and insist that we are obligated to pay them without any proof as they have been asked to sent but refuse.
This business is doing this to several widows and have coerced them into paying after their spouse is deceased. They need to be stopped and I intend to do so. In the mean time others hould be made aware of their bad business and to stay away from doing any business with theis company at all.
