While visiting Punta Cana, Dominican Republic we stayed in the CHIC Resort. We were having a lovely time when we were approached by one of the catch guys as I call them offering free tickets to an event if we would sit through a 90 minute tour of a Royalton Facility. We accepted and in comes the salesperson, a lovely lady named Janet, Janet proceeded to get to know my wife and they hit it off immediately. After about an hour of chatting we toured the VIP Diamond side of the Resort and let me tell you it was Beautiful. Janet then brought in her Bss whose name eludes me right now, he then presented a RCI Point system for traveling at acost of $50K plus, then of course the lower palns came into place. He painted such a great picture that we wound up purchasing a $7K Plan.

We were informed that we had up to 30 days to cancel, upon returning home I immediately began searching onto this company and its discounts and let me tell you I spent $7K on absolutely nothing. I began calling and calling but no one picked up the phone, my emails have gone unanswered as well. I have been trying to cancel but there is no way to do so. I also elected to be billed versus direct payment from my credit card every month and am still waiting for an invoice from them. I have not made a payment as of yet but in the Members Manual it states that the Member or Members if a Joint Account are responsible for teir debt egardless of whether or not they are cancelled (after 90 days no pay).

I am thinking about trying to open a Class Action Lawsuit against this company, if there are any Lawyers out there intersted Please contact me and I'm sure thee are many more out there that would join in.

Beware this company, If I understood the salesperson they are also in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen and many other Resorts owned and operated by Royalton.

After countless tries to reach Customer Service, I was able to contact them and they worked with me enough to come to a Mutual Agreement. They were Very Helpful and Understanding and Very Apologetic and assisted me in resolving this situation.
