I was needing help with the IRS so I contacted Traveler's Tax Group. I had heard their advertisement over the radio and decided to give them a chance. I am an owner/operator of a small trucking company based in Illinois and I have trouble keeping up with my paperwork, occasionally.
I needed their assistance with two separate years of taxes and I paid them the agreed upon amount of $1900 per year. They took the entire $3800 out of my checking account immediately after I signed the contract and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing for my case.
I called the BBB and they told me, basically, tough S. Traveler's refused to return my calls, never did anything to assist me with the IRS and never returned my money as was requested repeatedly via voice mail.
Currently I am trying find a reputable tax firm to assist me in correcting what Traveler's Group was supposed to do. Of course, after the wait and Traveler's not doing anything, I now owe more money to the IRS and have to pay a second firm, while never receiving anything from Traveler's.
Do NOT use this company and make sure you investigate a company before using their services.
