Travres*Rescounter.com Travres Rescounter Illegal and fictitious travel agency scammed me Unknown Internet

I called and attempted to make reservations at a nationally known hotel chain in Fishkill NY. I was advised by reservations clerk no rooms available that day for my discount, but ther was a hotel  "a few doors down" that could honor our discount and reserve us rooms.  I was then transferred via phone to who I thought was a Wyndham suites hotel reservations clerk. The person took my info and reserved 2 rooms were $118 each. My credit card info was forwarded to reserve room.  About 3 days later I saw my credit card had been charged $293.94 by TRAVRES RESCOUNTER.  I attempted to contact them by calling phone number associated with charge but never spoke to a live person. Voice message identified company as "reservations information line". Furthermore I attempted to contact their email address.  TRAVRES*Rescounter.com is an invalid email address unassigned to anyone. My credit cards bank was contacted by me to start a full investigation of Travres and any association doing business with them. My own research confirm Travres is listed on RIP-OFF REPORT as a company with past business practices which have been determind "questionable"
