I do not know how I got this company when I was trying to book a reservation. This "Reservation Counter" lied, evaded, misled--but we did eventually get the hotel rooms--thanks to LaQuinta's helpful staff. Internet

I'm not sure how I got in with this company--I thought it was one of the hotel reservation companies I had used in the past, but it definitely was not!

They found me two rooms and gave me a confirmation number. However, I asked them for an email confirmation, and I never received that. I asked about getting a receipt and they said I could get that when we checked in. (We couldn't; since it was a third party, the hotel couldn't give us a receipt.) I also wanted to get the hotel rewards from the booking and they assured me that all I had to do was to show our rewards card when we got to the hotel and it would be taken care of by them. That was something I questioned them several times and almost changed my mind about booking through them over that detail. I should have listened to my cautious inner self! We were not able to get rewards when checking in.

So I tried to call them to get a receipt and to complain about the misleading information they gave me. That was a futile exercise. The website gives you no option to do anything. And the phone number is a dead end number that tells you vague things but gives you no opportunity to talk to anyone or get anything fixed. After a number of tries, I have come to the conclusion that this is a company that you definitely do not want to do business with. I'm not sure what the confirmation number was good for. 

Stay away from this company! It's name should be "Trouble" instead of Travres (whatever that means!)
