Couple days later I talked with them and told them I had filled my truck up with diesel in Fort Drum Service Plaza and it just quit running when I got to Ft. Pierce. The mechanic said to me, you must have got some of that bio fuel at Fort Drum Service plaza. We will have to empy the tank, clean the injectors, new fuel filter and put in new fuel pump in the tank to the tune $835.19. The tow was $193.00 for those 2 miles. I gave them the go ahead to do the work.
I drove the truck to Stuart 24 miles, and parked it since I was working and staying on the farm. One week later I wasd driving back home and my truck engine caught on fire and melted all the electrical and wiring.
I stoped at Fort Drum Service plaza a week later in my wifes car and checked out the Diesel Isle, talked to people working abiut their fuel. They said they NEVER SOLD BIO FUEL, just straight diesel. So Tri- County Towing & Repair ripped me off for $100.00 worth of diesel,
didn't need to clean the injectors. The only thing they did right was the fuel pump in the tank went out. Now the FIRE ON MY ENGINE, after 65 miles. BEWARE OF Tri- County Towing.
