Tribute Financial Group Atlantic Financial Group This company obtained my bank account, SSN, and all personal information. New York New York

I recently applied to Tribute Financial Group Online for a $5000 loan. I did this in early January and the first thing I did was go to rippoffreport.com and searched the name. The deal was great and since I hadn't found the name on the site I sent them my personal information including my social and bank account # and routing #.

Two days before sending my money I found the first report on the 7th which said this site had been previously known as Atlantic Financial Group. Being an IT professional I got together with some associates and we did what we could to track down some "warm Bodies" so to speak. The address is bogus. It is actually listed as Cruise line. the phone number is routed out of Canada and it appears the faxes that they send are off of a hi-jacked PC in Louisiana.

I was able to find the name and phone number for the machine and it is just some unknowing old man who never uses the PC. I then found the web site was being hosted by North Storm Media Networks or northstorm.net out of Canada. I sent an email to them notifying them of the scam and they sent me an email stating that the site had been shut down. I checked the site and it had been shut down. The fact that A hosting company would shut down a paying customer so fast raised some more red flags with me in regard to their credibility but we'll let the proper authorities persue those avenues.

The person behind this is extremely knoweldgable with computers and phone systems. He or she is also very knowledgeable when it comes to web page design and International law in regard to hosting of pages in another country. My money is on an IT professional.

Thanks to Ripp Off Report I lost no money and only had to change my bank account. If you have fallen to these or any other scamms make sure you let credit institutions know about the fraud you have been exposed to. They will mark your account with the fraud alert.
