GreatFunTrilegiant Corporation - Greatfunsite.com Charged Credit Card One Month After Trial Period Cancellation Ripoff Norwalk New Jersey

I canceled my membership 2 days after signing up for the trial membership because discount offers for my city were inadequate. Over a month later I received a second membership card and a letter thanking me for joining GreatFun. After checking my bank account I discovered a charge from Greatfn in the amount of $9.99. Two company representatives told me I would have to send them a copy of my bank statement for them to investigate the charge - which I refused to do and I repeatedly insisted they immediately credit my Visa checkcard. I was told a credit would be made to my card within 15 business days. When I asked for proof I was given the employees name and Identification number. After repeatedly requesting additional proof I received a "confirmation number". I have learned my lesson and will check ripoffreport.com before purchasing anything on the internet. I would like to see a class action lawsuit filed against this company. They had no explanation as to why they issued me a second membership and offered no apologies.
