Troon Company LLC Purchased a debt restarted the clock on the debt Macon Georgia

I pulled my credit report for the first time awhile back and found it was a horror show.

I have gotten over 30k of false/bad debt taken off, but I still have a few still on there. The big one seems to be this Troon Company LLC. It seems they purchased a debt from Compass Bank just as it was about to expire (like one month from expiration).

The actual Compass Bank debt had expired, and I had to dispute it to get it taken off my report, which it now is gone, however, this Troon Company's report is still on my CR. I disputed it with experian, but it came back verified!

I do not understand a lot about this debt. First, the original debt has expired and is gone off my account (from Apr 01). I have never been contacted by this company, never received any bills or payment information. Next, if this debt was created in 2006, why does it expire in 2010? The original debt was for $10,000 yet this is for $11,030.00 (I have other debt hits for "credit extensions" for this same debt)
When I had checked my account, the original debt was never zeroed out.

Please help me understand what is going on with this debt, and how to correct this issue.
