Trophy Nissan Mesquite, Tx Ruben Rodriguez Charged me the wrong price for new car purchase. Altima was on sale for 18,888.00 and I was charged 27,059.93 for the car. Mesquite Tx Texas

My husband Ruben Rodriguez went to Trophy Nissan because of an ad we saw offering the 2013 Altima on sale for $18,888.00 so decided to trade in our 2004 Nissan truck. We were given $7500.00 trade in allowance but we did not even notice they had jacked the price of the car up to $27,000.00 until a year later when I went to do my taxes. At that time I went back to Trophy and and asked the sales manager, James Whitesel to explain why we were charged so much on a car that was supposed to be on sale. He said he could not verify the sales price for that time period which I find hard to believe. He would not offer any kind of resolution. I filed a claim with OCCC Office of Consurmer Credit Commssioner in Austin, but it did me no good since the contract had the price on it.  They had us so worn down after spending the entire day at the dealership that we were just tired and signed the contract without noticing the sales price. They had our attention focused on monthly payments, not sales price. 

I would never purchase another vehicle from them and this was the 3rd vehicle my husband had bought from them.
