I gave them my cc # to hold an item I bid on from ebay when I went to get it the guy was crazy! To make a long story short he agreed not to charge my card and I agreed to not file charges or take the item. I spoke to him I emailed him and each and every time he had a new lie to tell. I have several email from him printed out I would be happy to share, each one he changes his story. He did charge my card several days later for $200.00 my bank would not take the charge off(thanks a lot BOA) said I gave him the # so its my problem. I never got anything from this place yet he took my money I spoke with ebay they never charged him for the listing. He is just a lier! I know carma will get him.

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company
RAY failed to tell the WHOLE story.....
AUTHOR: Tropical Truck & Car Sales - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, April 19, 2008
Hello,
My name is Mark and I am the person that "Ray" is making refence to in his report.
What he failed to explain is that he entered into a "Binding Contract" via an Ebay Auction and then changed his mind based on the fact that we are rquired by Florida law to collect Florida State sales tax. He also wanted us to "Title" the car in a persons name that was not present...this is a crime in the State of Florida. We are required "Post 911" to have a valid ID and complete a background check with HomeLand Security on every person that we sell a car to. (FAILURE to do this cost 100's of thousands of dollars and decades of prison time) Pretty serious stuff.
The BBB, Florida DMV, and E-Bay have all declined to get involved because the customer refused to comply with the "Terms of Contract" as they are clearly spelled out in his copy.
I did offer him a partial refund, that he refused. He stated we would go to court?
As of this date I have yet to be advised of ana action being filed.
I will never take money from someone that is not due me.
We take great pride in being a true "Anti-Dealer" car lot.
Take Care,
Mark Steighner
President
