In feb. of this year will went to Ashley Home Store and purchased a bunk bed from them. They do their financing through wells fargo. Well it came that I could not get a loan thru them so the salesman said they in store financing. So thought ok I will do that.
They explained that if I put 200.00 down I would have to pay 145.00 a month and the payment did not start till the end of march and if I came in before the payments were to start and paid the furniture off it would be interest free.
So it ended up being off 600.00 after I payed the 200.00. March came and I payed the monthly payment and have been for the last 6 months and last month I went in to ask how much was going to the bed and how mucyh was going to interest so I could start doubling the amount that is going towards the bed.
They informed me that only 9.00 was going on the bed then they informed me that they are rental company and I am on a rent to own program which I knew nothing about. So I have since then told them to come and pick the bed so I can go down the street and get the same bed and not be screwed around like this.
I just don't want anyone to be take to the cleaners by these people.

That yes in 2005 when I got the bunk beds they did have a company in the store that was called TRS I dont they are there any longer though and yes they did charge interest even though it was a rent to own which they dont tell you that until after you sign the papers

I personally dont know of any ashley homestore running its own in house financing.
Are you sure you just didnt buy an Ashley product from the Rent-a-Center?
I personally think this is the case, but hey, who knows.
