TRUCK NATION HOUSTON a division of LaCima Company They sold me a truck with the air cooled intake riddled with holes while attempting to change the $1400 part I noticed that the part that holds the radiator in place was horribly corrode to the point where I have to get new metal welded to replace . they put a new piece of rubber around the air cooled intake so that the corroded metal could not be seen when inspecting the truck. I noticed the problem when the check engine light came on the same day I brought it but I was 313 miles away by then so I took it to a shop and they revealed the damages tome and they also told me that they had tohave known this and that they ripped me off Houston Texas

I purchased a truck from truck nation in Houston and was lied to cheated and bamboozled. On the way home from TX to N.O.L.A the check engine light came on but itwas at night and I was like 15 miles from home so I brought it to a shop and let the check it out. The truck read 4 different codes as the mechanic was fixing the problem he was hearing an air leak. Now check this out truck nation had to put a new a/c condenser in the truck because the a/c wasn't working, now to replace the condenser you have to take the air cooled intake off so they had to see that it was riddled with holes but did they fix it, Hell no!!! But I couldn't see that unless I was taking it off. So when the mechanic was taking it off he noticed that theyhad put a brand new piece of ru"er around the air cooled intake but it was only to hide the horribly corrode metal that holds the radiator in place. The air cooled intake cost $1400.00 and I have to get more metal cut and welded to replace the horribly corroded metal and I don't have a clue on what that's going to cost. I contacted the GM at truck nation and he acted like I was lying to him and that he didn't have a clue about what I was talking about because he said that all their trucks are thoroughly inspected. I told him of it was thoroughly inspected then he knows exactly what I'm talking about. The GM did not try to resolve the matter the only thing he told me was that I should have brought the truck back when the check engine light came on so I told him why would I drive back to Houston for them to check out a code when the drive is 330 moles from my home when I can drive 3 miles from my house to a shop and have it checked out. So if anyone can help me get my money back for the repairs and hopefully put these smakes out of business I would really appreciate it.
