True Credit And The Big 3 Bureaus Fraud Alert Internet

I was preparing for a mrtgage and followed the advice of many, I purchased the 3 bureau monitoring from True Credit. I monitored my credit every day for 30 days and when my score was high enough, I contacted my lender. When the lender pulled the tri merge, I was surprised to find out that my scores were significantly lower than I had been getting from True Credit.

I contacted them and they informed me that they use a different scoring model than the 3 bureaus. This is fraud. I cancelled my monitoring and I let them know that I wanted all of my money back. I gave them 24 hours to return my money.

I also filed a complaint with the FTC. The FTC logged my complaint and said that I needed to contact my congress person and let them try to change the regulations. We all need to come together to make these changes. Please contact your congress person and file a report to get them on board with this. It is hard enough these days to ensure your financial wellbeing without having these companies committing fraud.
