This potentially harmful scam preys on people with emotional distress. Offering counseling, a 24 hour Hotline and the opportunity to cancel at any time. Though they made promises to call, they failed to do so. Their 24 hour Hotline is busy for 30 mins. and then disconnects!
There is a $10.00 charge to your credit card to join a "Trial Membership". Once you find that it is impossible to cancel the monthly charge goes up to $39.99 for no service whatsoever!
The "Counselors" cannot have any true training in psychology or the field of mental health. They have no clue how to handle depression, suicidal ideation or any other mental condition. I am wondering if there have been any suicides linked with True North Advocates. This kind of irresponsible marketing can only lead to damage - not any good!
