To my understanding I clicked on a side bar for true.com out of curiousaty. I then agreed to a free trial of 7 days. I then read the fine print saying i will be charged when the trial is over.

I then got there number, called and talked to a represintative to cancel my trial. I was told it was taken care of and cancled. I then checked my email to find they set me up with a second free trial. So I called a second time to cancel it AGAIN. I was then told for a second time it was canceled.

I have not been on true.com sence. They have been charging me for four months now with a $14.95 payment each time. That is a total of $59.80. It has caused me numerious overdrafts fee's of $35.00 each time as well. This is because it is my checking account and it only has enough money to cover bill's I write out.

I was also charged $49.99, $6.98 and $3.00 directly from my account from true.com

do you work fo the company

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, May 11, 2009

Ok tired of tears tell me do you work for the company all the people that are complaning cant be wrong. Most and i said most of the dating sites on the net are nothing but ripoffs and scams.Let me give you a example. I went on amateur match to check it out and was getting tons of messages 30 or around 40 so i figured i would try it out for a month. Well after i signed up as a paid member guess what no more messages and the ones i did get were one liners so you know what heres all i have to say scam scam scam . i wrote them and said im not paying them one red cent cause amateur match is nothing but a big scam and is nothing but fraud. I stand by what i say so if you met yr woman on there well good for you if thats true. But to me you sound like you work for the company and of course yr going to take up for them.

I've NEVER had a PROBLEM with True.com

AUTHOR: Tiredoftears@truebeginnings.com - (U.S.A.)

I have been a member of True.com on and off since October 2007. I have had nothing but plesant experiences with the true crew and they have never NOT done anything that they tell me when I talk to them over the phone about suspending my account or canceling it.

I have read several comments on here about being charged for their membership after canceling their membership. You can cancel all of you memberships under your account info. You are not required to call the customer service # and you will get an email INSTANTLY saying your trial will end on such a such a date and you will not be charged.

Several people have also commented on the total fees charged. READ READ and READ some more before signing up on a trial basis with ANYONE!! It plainly states that you will be charged 49.95 for the monthly fee...6.95 for Cam chat and 3.95 for coaching. You also have the ability to change...meaning delete...from your fees under your account options.

Customer care at True.com ALWAYS...ALWAYS has a customer care "cam" room open at all times with one or two...sometimes more...true crew to deal with your issues...GO there and get instant results.

With any dating sites...you have to pick and choose. There are MANY out there if True.com is not the site that is right for you...FIND ANOTHER ONE. One site can not make everyone in the world happy with how they market, keep you a paying customer, etc.

Also TRUE.com has various pricing plans... like the one that I took $99 one time for unlimited use forever. Seek and you will find...they want you as a customer and they want to keep you.

TiredofTears

PS I met my fiance that I am marrying in July 2009 on here and still have ALOT of friends that I have acquired on True.com.
