Truffoire ,Northeast Mall, Hurst, Texas, Scammed my disabled son Hurst Texas

My son, who is 26 and has mental disabilities, went to Northeast Mall in Hurst, TX to buy Christmas gifts. He does this every year and there's never been a problem until this year. The salespeople at the Truffoire kiosk got a hold of him and by the time they were done, they had convinced my son to buy $5,000 in skincare products (in two transactions). As I mentioned, he's disabled (high functioning) and if you talk to him for just a few minutes you can tell he has disabilities. He's not good with numbers. But as I said, he's gone to this mall every Christmas season to buy gifts on his own and there hadn't been a problem until this year. 

When I learned what had happened (within an hour), I immediately contacted Truffoire. The local salespeople refused to give a refund. We were put in touch with a regional manager and at first she said they couldn't give a refund. We told her about our son's disabilities, but it still took us getting pretty upset for her to let our son take the products back. BUT, we didn't know he had shopped at the same kiosk a few days before. He had bought a nearly $1,000 piece of LED skincare equipment that a 26-year-old doesn't need (and neither do I). My son has a communicatin disorder, but never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that a salesperson at a mall kiosk would have the gall to scam a young adult with disabilities for several thousand dollars.

A few days later when I found out that my son had the LED product in his possession, I immediately contacted the regional manager. She was out sick and took a couple of days to get back to me. She asked me to send photos of the product to the Northeast Mall location and that someone would get in touch with me. A few days later I got the email below, which made my blood boil. The product has not been used. It's still in the box, waiting to be returned. I think it's unconsionable for salespeople to take advantage of people with disabilities. It's disgusting, and I have no use for these kinds of salespeople. I've seen other reviews refer to Truffoire's sales tactics as like "used car salesmen."

Beware! If you biu any products from Truffoire, it will be very difficult to return anything.

"Thank you for contacting Truffoire at North East. We looked up the receipt and found this purchase was made almost 14 days ago. The company has a No Refund policy, exchange is within 7 days of purchase as stated at the bottom of each receipt and on a sign near the register.

We understand the other purchase that was made December 17th was Voided due to it being returned on the same day with the items in perfect condition.

One of the items that were purchased December 14th, was the LED device, that was registered by the customer for the lifetime warranty and therefor cannot be returned for an exchange, due to it being used and registered. the other two items that were purchased that day can be exchanged for other items of equal value.

Unfortunately, we cannot assist any further with your return request as it does not meet company's guidelines. We do, however, wish for every customer to be satisfied with their purchase and are willing to offer a compensation package for you to enjoy. Please provide us with your shipping address so we can send the package your way.
