Trupanion The Pet Insurance declined my claim with reason "pre-existing condition" without evidence. Seattle Washington

        Trupanion accepted my Golden Retriever dog for their Insurance. He is a very healthy and active Dog since he came in January 2015 to MA-US and considering the wild life of new England (Lyme / Ticks) I decided to purchase a Pet Insurance from Trupanion. Before I purchased the Insurance I called Trupanion and explained to the person, that my dog is not from US and does not have a history in the US, and I asked if this would be an issue in the future and their answer was  no.

 

       So I get my premium plan in February 2016 from Trupanion and after paying for 15 months my plan I used but my claim get denied with reason and without an evidence of pre existing condition

My dog never had a problem and our veterinarian  visits were only for Vaccinations to Animal Hospital of Lynnfiled and Vetco, until l saw a light limping in April 2017 and went to Woburn animal hospital for examination. They said that they have to do the imaging which I agreed. After claiming my costs to Trupanion my claims got denied with the reason "pre-existing condition", One of our previous vaccinations visit in August 2015 was to Animal Hospital of Lynnfield and we talked about bread issues and the medication which i gave to my dog. But they noted their opinion for hip dysplasia (which is a bread issue) without any imaging or even phisical examination, because one day before we went for a trip with the dog which he was very active and was a little bit stiff a day after from running and playing. The day after he was completly ok.

I appealed to Trupanion and explained that my dog was healthy, and the Lynnfield Animal Hospital did not had any imaging or X-Ray taken or even suggested  to get any imaging and asked Trupanion for evidence for "pre-existing condition" for Hip dysplasia or Arthritis, but Trupanion denied again with the same reason, and some of them are:

-The dog takes Glukosamin tablets  (which i gave him since he was 2 years old, because of his breed)

-The dog takes fish oil tablets (which i gave him since he was a pup for his healthy coat)

 

        Since i have the insurance i paid $2880, and my Veterinarian bills are $1156.73. 

 

         I canceled my Insurance and claimed my money back, which i paid over this 15 months, Trupanion can`t pay my money back eighter.
