This company claims to be a charity for the Fraternal Order of Police. I usually get a sticker in the mail asking for a donation, which in turn I send them a check. I thought that this went to out local police. I thought wrong. I started to get calls from a TSI Fundraising on my caller ID and continued for about 30 days or so. I was so fed up I finally did some research on them. I got a hold of the LAPD and was forwarded to the charitable donations division. I spoke to the director and she informed me that this company was bogus.
The LAPD has and will never solicite donations. The Fraternal Order Of Police is not associated with the police department at all. I then sought legal advice regarding this issue. I was informed that since I had registered with this donotcall.gov site that if I simply told the bogus charity not to call, I had ground for legal action. DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE FAKES.
I WILL NEVER GIVE MONEY TO THE FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE AGAIN.
