T.T.I Research Center Claimed to be Consumer Survey Specialists offering income on part time basis using false information. Perrysburg, Ohio

Company is sending letters to, in our case, young college graduates claiming a recent job search with Consumer Survey Specialists.  The individual had been selected as a "Mystery Shopper".  The job involved posing as a potential customer sending money to 'AUDREY GORDON' in London, England.  After completion of the first assignment, the individual would be able to proceed with the second assignment in a major chain retail store. Enclosed with the letter is a check made out to the recipient for $3490.00.  The check uses MAUMEE EQUIPMENT 500 West Indiana Ave  Perrsburg, OH for its name.
The envelope that the letter is mailed in is post marked from Canada with a return address of : PO Box 96012 LCD Mississauga on L4Y 0A5. Googling Maumee Equipment brings up a website that discloses this as a scam.
