Facts:

You will be driving a 2013-2014 Peterbilt or Kenworth
You will deal with people that would rather replace the driver than repair the truck
You will pull a trailer with re-tread tires and likely have at least one replaced each trip
You will run between 5500-6000 miles per 7-8 days
You will be paid on a 1099 basis
You will not have direct deposit
You will only get a "live" check when they want to issue it. There is no "payday"
You will be paid 25% of what they say is the linehaul amount
You will be entitled to very few days at home after a trip
You will be dispatched by a unprofessional, rude person
You will deal with the broker yourself on return load from west coast, but you cannot choose loads
