Turkish Airlines, check in counter at Lahore, Pakistan They charged us $1625 for over weight, when we were aloud 2 pieces each and had 1 extra luggage NYC, USA/ Lahore, Pakistan/ Istambul, Turkey Nationwide

We flew from NY, USA to Moscow, Russia, then to Lahore, Pakistan  with 2 luggages each of us ( me and my husband) on our way back from Lahore to Moskow with transit in Istambul we occurred mind blowing experience: at the check-in at the Turkish Airlines station at Lahore airport we were told that we can take with us only 1 luggage per person.

We were trying to explain for over 1 hours and 40 minutes to the station manager in Lahore - Sajjad Hassan s.hassan@thy.com and Imran -the person who processed our luggages that our booking agent from Michele Travels confirmed to us that we have 2 luggages each booked from USA to Russia and from Russia to Pakistan, and there is no way we can comeback with one peace per person. But the more we were talking to them, than more they were getting upset.

On feast place the asked us to pay 46000 pakistani rupees ($460), than the price went up to 110000 pakistani rupees ($1100), and final price they asked when only 20 minuts to the flight departure left was 19700 Pakistani rupees
($1970). They were constantly pressuring us and disrespecting, and at the end they said that we are going to give them money or they will close the counter and won't care if we stay back.

So at that point we had nothing left but paying them asked price and board the plane. After taking our money the rushed us to the plane and said that they will process the booking and give us receipt at the plane. When we recieved that receipt, to our surprise it showed way different amount. The total paid was 162500 Pakistani rupees ($1625) for 65 kg. By our travel agent we should be paying $210 for the fift lagguge we were carrying with us but no way $1625.

i am trying to contact Turkish Airlines, but all attempts didn't give any results yet. Today I went to the corporate office located at 350 Fifth Ave., N.Y., N.Y. and was expected unsuccessful. I was suggested to call them, when they don't answer any phone calls.
