Tutor Time - Capital Academics Ripoff hires directors that terrorize small children and has not performed background searches on new-hires Chandler Arizona

This Tutor Time location has gone through 9 Directors in the past two years. Corporate management in that office is not conducive to a cohesive and pleasant work enviroment.

An incident that occurred 11/2004 where the assistant director Diane Facio (spelling may be incorrect) not only terrorized the children by telling them that the school was "haunted", but also literally threatened to blow-up the school after her employment was terminated. It took three police officers to get her out of the building and an injuction has been filed to keep her from contacting the school or the families. That should really make the parents feel safe knowing that the only thing that is keeping the children safe is a piece of paper.

The director that was fired on or around 07/2004 did not pull background searches on several of the new hires. This is a fee that is, believe it or not, actually paid by the employees themselves (another sign of POOR corporate management). Instead of pulling the background search like she was "required" to do, she pocketed the money herself and never found out if the new teachers she hired had a criminal background! This was discovered only after she was fired and only after those teachers had been working with YOUR children for several months.
Fortunately it was determined that none of the teachers had a criminal record.

Finally, everyone that works with the children or drives the bus should have the necessary requirements. For example, someone that teaches your children, should at the VERY least have a GED, or someone who drives the bus should have, at the VERY least a driver's license. There is conclusive evidence that will corroborate each of these allegations. As a consumer and most importantly, AS A PARENT, it is up to you to do a little research and ensure the safety of your own children. Some of this information is a matter of public record.
