I ordered the complete tv box set of Ally McBeal back on 6/22/07. I immediately received a confirmation email with processing, shipping and tracking dates/information. I was told my order would ship July 1st. When I did not receive my order by July 11 I started doing some checking.
You can only email this company; there are no phone numbers or addresses provided. Every time I sent an inquiry about my order the response was the same...the 4th of July holiday slowed things down & I would have my order in 4 business days. Obviously not! The email was a form letter; not personalized at all.
The tracking information given to me was through Canada Post. I called them directly and inquired about the tracking number and they told me it is no good. The shipping had actually been purchased for my order on July 5th but the tracking number was not valid and no order had been shipped.
In trying to contact this company I went through the Better Business Bureau. The number provided for Garcia Media Group is in Florida. When I called and spoke to the owners son he told me they'd received numerous calls like mine. I don't know if he is lying to protect the company or if he is sincere. He said their company "Garcia Media Group" is not the same as the SXR.CA/Garcia Media Group. How do I know???? Meantime I am out $130 and no DVDs.
Does anyone out there have anymore information or help?

I am a consumer myself who made my order through the internet to TVBOXSET.com
I placed my order on July 11,2007 and today is July 18,2007.They sent me email messages stating the status of my order and finally today I am given tracking numbers on the order I placed.I click on the link to the Canada Post webpage on tracking the delivery status they provided and NONE OF THE NUMBERS THEY GAVE WORK AT ALL. I REPEAT N O N E.
I actually took action yesterday after reading your report by cancelling my credit card and report the case to the credit card company dispute centre and give them all the details (Fortunately I have them in writing in the form of emails).Our situations are the same.We have been duped by these people.
Also,a thought has come to mind after I placed the order with them.All these TV series are copyrighted and only the Media company who produce those series reserve the right to produce those TV series into DVDs.
