i see that i am yet another unsuspecting consumer that fell pray to the scam artists of dvddonkey & tv milk....i was lucky & only purchased 63.00 worth on a dvd set but its still not right & is frustrating just the same......i purchased the dvd set on 1/7/2008 & kept getting emails saying the dvd was on backorder but will only be charged when it gets shipped & if i want to cancel then click a certain link...well "thinking" they were legit i decided to wait & not cancel the purchase... sooooo today i opened a bill that came in the mail & saw i had a charge for 70.00 not 63.00 from a company called tv milk.com.....well after researching & of coarse coming across this website (thank you) i found that tv milk & dvd donkey are one in the same & i was ripped off !!!!! i called the phone number on my statement to only hear that the voice mail was full - then i called the dvddonkey number & it rang then beeped like a fax machine - i also went into the email that dvddonkey sent me about the backorder & tried to click on the cancel order link but it came up as web page does not exist (go figure)... i did file a dispute with my credit card company & will have no doubt about getting credit & i will be changing my credit card # as well & putting a fraud alert on all my cards too... i'm also going to go to the fbi fraud report link too - might as well do what i can.... so if theres anyone else out there who has run into either of these companies please beware it will happen to u too - be safe & careful but sometimes we are fooled so when that happens do what u can to report the bad people -every little bit helps

on 2/20/08 i sent dvddonkey an email asking for my refund & advising them of "all" the ways i was reporting them........and on 2/23/08 i actually received an email from them (well actually from tvaddicts.com - another alias) saying they will refund my 70.00 in 6-12 days.....we'll see !!! i will check my credit card company in a few days & the email again if i need to - i saw one update from a lady that she "did" get her refund from them so i will follow her lead & keep emailing them.....also i did read a notation from someone saying they had a hard time trying to get into their email.......
at first i did too but keep trying cuz their website changes by the hour - really - i kept trying to email them throughout the day on 2/20 & at first when i clicked on the email link it just came up blank - then later it came up as webpage not available then later i actually got thru - so keep trying.....i will update more on the refund later...............also i did file a report with fbi (thanx to one of the writer on ripoff report ) & filed report with BBB & also put a 90 fraud alert on all my credit cards by calling the equifax credit union fraud # 1 800 525 6285 - its free but i also purchased some super xtra security - a package called gold credit watch 3 in 1 package - it monitors your card for 1 year every day 24 hrs - i'm doing whatever i can for protection
