Myself and a friend thought the opportunity at TCE sounded like a great deal. I interviewed first. The interview took all of 5 minutes. I drove 45 minutes in rush our traffic only to find a run down suite in a run down building. I walked in and there were at least 20 other people waiting to be interviewed. They had me fill out an application which consisted of only contact info. I gave that back to the receptionist along with my resume. I waited for about 20 minutes and finally was taken back for my interview.

The owner, Brian, had an interior office with no windows and it was obviously not used very often. He explained to me that this was only a preliminary interview, asked where I see myself in 2-3 months, and asked if I had any questions. I asked what exactly I would be doing if I got the management position. He never gave me a straight answer.

I asked a series of questions, none of which were clearly answered. I asked about salary; he said $40,000-50,000+.

I was excited about this. After my five minutes of question asking he told me I would receive a call after they review all of the candidates and at a time closer to my graduation date.

My friend interviewed the next week and was able to start immediately. The second interview is an all day "evaluation". What this all day thing consisted of was standing in front of a Sam's Club pedaling trinkets to those shopping there.

He was told his salary was based on sales and after 2-3 weeks, when he became a manger, he would have to train other people to sell these trinkets and he would get a portion of their sales. Can anyone say scheme?!

After his day there, he was brought back to the office and was told to fill out some other forms. He was then brought in to see the hiring manager. This person told him that she has never had someone perform so well and that she might get int trouble for doing this, but she had to offer him the job right away; he was their top candidate in the past year.

After doing some research to help settle our suspicions, we found other reports on ripoffreport.com and everything began to make sense. They wasted our time and hundreds of other people's time no doubt. He did not accept the position.

Two weeks later I was contacted by Brian and I was told I was their top candidate. How could I be their top candidate when all he did was ask me where I see myself in 2-3 months? I simply told him I had accepted a position with another company. He immediately said, "Oh, okay. Goodbye." and hung up.

It is interesting to me, that if I was their top candidate, he wouldn't ask about the position I took or try to convince me to consider otherwise. He didn't even have the respect to say a proper goodbye.

Do not pursue anything with this "company"!!
