TWX Magazine Orders And FYE Stores Unauthorized charges to Debit Card Nationwide New York

In May of 2006, i signed up for a free 3 month trial of 2 magazines. Unknowingly I somehow signed an authorization for them to bill me continuously without renewing for these magazines. FYE music store is where i signed up for these "free" magazines, and the store provided them with my credit card information for them to automatically withdrawl $105 from my account on a yearly basis.

My name and card information were changed when they attempted to charge me this August, and instead of contacting me for more information, they stopped sending me the magazines, but continued to try and take the money from my card until it was authorized.

I called the company and after practically yelling at their impossible automated system, was redirected to customer service. I sat on hold for 10 minutes waiting for a representative, and finally someone was there to speak to me. They agreed to refund the charges without a problem, which seems odd considering they claim I authorized the charges to beging with. And, after the rep. was very short and rude with me, told me it would take 24-72 hours before they could put the money back.

They attempted to give me a confirmation number, however i refused and demanded they send me a letter in writing stating what had happened and their aggreement to refund the charges. Then to make matters worse, they offered me 5 free issues of any magazine of my choice! Of course i refused!
