We have been contacted by TxCollect, Inc. on behalf of Palisade Collection, LLC. I got a letter from then stating we owe $240.22 on an account from ATT Wireless.
I call Chris Black the recovery manager and he said it was from an account that was closed 8 years ago. He was unable to verify the account number, the phone number or any information whatsoever.
I get a call from them trying to collect of which I tell them this is a fraudulent claim.
I have written a letter telling them that A) The account does not exist nor can they provide proof. B) No more phone communication is to occur. EVERYTHING must be in writing. C) They must remove the credit ding they have given us in 2004 for a 1996 disputed claim.

I have also written letters to the three main credit reporting agencies as Palisades has dinged my credit in March 2004, for an alleged 1996 ATT bill and never contacting us until August 2004! This is being researched but could very well be illegal.
