Tyson's Tavern's Owner Stereotypical Owner will never get business acting like that. Baltimore City Maryland

My husband and I were recommended this place to go eat and have some drinks. I heard their food was excellent. So we decided to go with the friends who referred us. We were met at bar by the owner and he was also our waiter for the evening. There were only two other people in the whole place keep in mind.

After the specials and menus were presented to us we decided to order drinks. I asked if they had a specific liquor and then proceeded to order that shot with a red bull. After i said that he changed his demeanor and flat out told us "No offense to your type of people but I don't serve red bull or any other kind of energy drink. Energy drinks, again no offense to your type of people, but they get rowdy and cause trouble when energized. If you want to get wild and drink jager bombs you can go to Kisslings Tavern down the street."

Needless to say we gave the menus back, paid for the drinks we already ordered and left to go to Kisslings. Kisslings is my all time favorite place to go and I have never had a bad time or never witnessed a rowdy crowd in the 6 years that I have been going there. I am a down to earth Kisslings fan so I "was offended" by what this guy told me. First of all, you are an owner of a "business". Second, we are first time customers that were referred to you. Third, what do you mean "Your type of people???", I am a PAYING customer and was going to order food that I heard was good.

Lastly, I simply am not going back to that place and will tell people not to go there. VERY unprofessional. I work in Customer Service and I know how things go. Does the way I dress or look really have something to do with how I act? Do you want my money? Then treat me like a person. Not some wild person who might cause a fight in your bar/tavern. I am a big fan of trying out new places around Baltimore City and I have never, ever been treated like this at ANY place.
