TyTy Nursery shipped trees in poor condition, then want me to send them more money to "honor their warranty" for one year. They make it almost impossible for you you to get new trees sent to you, and then I hones Internet

Last fall I ordered $140.00 in trees from tyty nursery. I asked to be notified when trees would be shipped. I was not. I arrived home from a trip in January and found a bag of trees at my door. It was 10 degrees. I set the trees out, as I called them and they instructed me to do so. These trees never leafed out, never even came alive in the spring and summer. They told me to wait til fall, and see. Still nothing. I finally went to their website and printed off their" replacement application" form. This is a joke!.I have to ""Apply"" for replacement of their dead trees. Then they have to either approve me or deny me for plant replacement. O, I got approved allright. But, I have to pay money again if I want them to replace my trees!!!! I honestly believe this is a ripoff! I went online, and researched their ordering history and found numerous complaints about the exact same thing. I also must say, that right up front, their photos online are not what you want to look at if you are trying to view a tree or shrub. you are going to be surprised at how they show their plants!!!!! Rather sexual.
I would definitely not recommend this nursery to anyone. Am actually wondering what kind of nursery they are running???

TyTy Nursery

AUTHOR: Diogenes - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, November 20, 2011

Several years ago I actually lived right outside of TyTy, Georgia.  The TyTy Nursery was awesome then  -  beautiful exotic plants, palm trees, unusual fruit trees and bushes...I've never seen anything like it !!  Unfortunately, the owner's wife ( a former Miss Georgia, by the way ), who ran the nursery, passed away.  Since then the TyTy Nursery has deteriorated into the mess that it is today. The owner NEVER had anything to do with the nursery when his wife was alive ( other than spending the money ), and, of course, has no clue what to do with it now.  Like you, I would NEVER purchase anything from there again. You would just be asking for trouble and an endless list of problems.
